Exemption from fees
Candidates who are subject to extended compulsory education may take some tests free of charge.

Instructions for fee refunds
For matters related to fee refunds, you may contact us by email at taha@ylioppilastutkinto.fi.
It is not recommended to send bank account details via unsecured email. If account details are required, you will receive instructions on how to provide them in the reply to your message. Requests for a refund must be submitted no later than the end of the year in which the examination round in question was held.

The examination fees are based on a decree issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
