Information about the Matriculation Examination

The Matriculation Examination is taken at the end of general upper secondary school. It is used to determine whether students have acquired the knowledge and skills required by the general upper secondary school curriculum and have reached a sufficient level of maturity in line with the objectives of upper secondary education. The examination includes tests in the mother tongue and literature, the second national language, foreign languages, mathematics, and humanities and natural sciences.
